Farm Bureau Committees


The Jackson County Farm Bureau is made up of several different committees.  These committees are a very important part of the make up of our organization.  These are the people that are working on a daily basis to help preserve and promote agriculture in our local area, our state and our nation.  Take a look at the committees offered.  If you are interested in participating in these committees please call 618-684-3129 and we will be happy to help you become an active part of our organization.
Ag In The Classroom 

Ag in the classroom is available to schools throughout Jackson County.  Our coordinator is available to schools to promote agriculture to our area children.  This is an extremely important part of our organization.  The future of agriculture is in the hands of our children.  We need to promote it to them and insure they know the importance of agriculture to the world around them.

Young Leaders

Young Leaders is a committee for members age 18-35.  This committee is extremely involved in the Southern Illinois community.  This is a way that our young people are active in giving back.  This is a very important part of the Farm Bureau organization.  Our young leaders of today are our agriculture leaders of tommorrow.  

Legislative & Local Affairs


Farm Bureau is the agricultural communities eyes and ears in the legislature.  This committee organizes meetings with current government officials and hosts meetings to keep the public up to date on current and upcoming policy changes.

Women's Committee

The goal of the Women's Committee to be a support system to the Farm Bureau and aid the community in the preservation of agriculture.  We participate in many community activities.  Anyone is invited to join our committee call 618-684-3129 to join us today!


The marketing committee strives to keep the agricultural community up to date on current marketing techniques and changes in the marketing practices that can help your operation.

Member & Public Relations


The Member & Public Relations committee works on special projects to promote the Farm Bureau name, specific events, and membership.
